My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance (also known as My Chem, MCR and The Black Parade) is an American band that formed in 2001.
They have released three records to date as well as some other experimental tracks.
In July 2002, MCR released their debut album 'I Bought You My Bullets' You Bought Me Your Love' which featured singles 'Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us' and 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You'.
This was followed by 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge' in June 2004 which saw the band break into the mainstream music scene with massive success. Three Cheers gave us four new singles, the second of which, 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise)', reached number 19 on the UK singles chart and saw the band grow in popularity, gathering a hard-core, dedicated fan base.
In October 2006, My Chemical Romance released 'The Black Parade', their third studio album. Since it's release less that one year ago, this album has already been certified platinum in several countries including the UK and has produced four singles with even more on the horizon. This concept album has stormed to the top of rock charts all over the world, it's biggest victory surprisingly coming from the Philippines, where all four singles have shot straight to number one!
